The best option in Messonghi (and not only) to do daily activities on the island at good prices. I would recommend the bus trip to Issos Beach (you will spend aprox. 7 hours there) and the Boat Cruise to Paxos and Antipaxos. You will be many hours on a boat going through some lagoons, one hour swimming on Antipaxos island and i believe 2 or 3 hours visiting the beautiful Gaios town on Paxos island. You can bring on the boat anything including food or drinks. There is also a bar on the boat.
We have been also to Paleokastritsa, but i would not go again there. Paleokastritsa is looking great, but it's full of people, the beach seats are 15 euros each and the beaches are too small for that amount of people. Also they would not accept you on some restaurants if you wanna drink something without eating. If you're still interested to go to Paleokastritsa, i recommend having a snack or a drink at the Aqualand bar.
The customer service at the Travel Center is great and polite. They also can help you with other tips about the area.
*Disclaimer! Buy your tickets one or two days before. The trips are fully booked all the time. The tickets cand be bought ONLY at the center, no online options. The desk is open all day starting early morning till late evening.

I would highly recommend the Messonghi travel center and in particular Sula.
First let me say we didn't travel with this company but a rival one from Messonghi in Corfu to the Blue lagoon and Sivota on mainland Greece. While at Sivota my wife left her phone but didn't realise it until the boat trip was back under way.
I text the phone saying if anyone finds this it please can you ring me. Only a short while later a Greek gentleman rang saying he had found the phone. We decided he would leave it at a restaurant and we would make the trip again the following day to retrieve the phone. Unfortunately the company we went with weren't travelling there for a few days and we only had 2 days before we returned home. We went to the Messonghi travel center and spoke with Sula to book the same trip again the next day and explained the situation. Even though we hadn't travelled with them originally Sula wouldn't hear of us booking again and said she would do all she could to get the phone back. She rang the restaurant (which she knew of) and after a lot of sorting someone from the restaurant drove the phone an hour away to the ferry and sent it to Lefkimmi. There it was passed onto a bus driver from one of the travel centers trips and he brought it back. So in little over 24 hours my wife had her phone back.
We can't thank Sula enough and everyone else involved. Thank you all so much. Xx

We were on a vacation on Corfu, Greece in late July 2020.
The capitol of that Island, Corfu Town, has been one of our "must-see" places on the island, but we couldn't find any travel center that would meet our schedule (We were two groups and had a small timeframe for doing the city trip).

Nonetheless, the very kind staff of Messonghi Travel Center in Agios Georgios approached us with the idea of booking a private bus for a great price. They are also very keen in English and German, which was great!

We were then picked up at the hotel a few days later. The bus driver was very generous and the bus itself was pure luxury. We had a 4 hour trip through the island capital and were smoothly carried through any kinds of traffic :)

We went on theGrand Island Tour which was €35 each. The pick up and coach were fine. it was a LONG and to be honest quite boring day. Yes we saw Mouse Island, a little cove with the option to pay for a short boat trip. We were taken to a 3 storey restaurant high up in the mountains with stunning views. We popped in to Kassiopi and literally had 40 minutes there which was not long enough. It has always been our favourite place on the island so we were disappointed.

Yet we had to put up with several hours on the coach between stops just looking at olive trees, overflowing wheelie bins, abandoned cars and graffiti everywhere. We had not been to Corfu for 10 years and sadly it has declined.

We asked our hotel to provide us with a picnic which was very sparse so we ended up paying a fortune that day on food and drinks. The mountain restaurant was €18.50, we spent about €15 everywhere we stopped because the short time allowed did not give you time to explore. So it was a very expensive day out.

The guide was very knowledgeable but I got the feeling she also got commission on the meals at the mountain restaurant because there was absolutely nothing else to do up there and we were there for a long time in intense heat.

We booked three excursions with Soula at the Messonghi Travel Centre in Agios St George South - Blue Lagoon Boat Trip, Coach Trip to Corfu Town and Boat Trip to Paxos & Antipaxos.

Firstly our experience at the Travel Centre - we were looked after by Soula, who we found to be highly knowledgeable and very friendly, there was no 'hard selling', it was about what we as a family wanted to experience on our holiday and what could be offered to best achieve what we wanted as a family. Having dealt with various travel centres in a number of locations over the years, we felt we had actually found someone that cared that we had the best time possible. While there we also saw that Rita who also worked there seemed to be delivering similar to the people she was dealing with. We certainly felt that if any issues developed with our trips that we could come back and approach either of these friendly women.

Our trips followed Covid guidelines - our boat trips starting from our hotel in St George South involved very short coach trips to our harbour points and the two Captains and crews we experienced were very friendly and funny but ultimately they looked after us and kept us within Greek government guidelines while ensuring that we had a great time. We can't choose between the two boat trips as to which was best but the capital village of Gaios on Paxos is something special.

Our Coach trip to Corfu Town was well run, hotel pick up on time and pick up from Corfu Town for return journey on time. While a couple of euros more expensive than the bus service, we found being dropped off and picked up by the Old Fortress to be very convenient for us.

To sum up we highly recommend Soula at the Agios St George South Messonghi Travel Centre but we got a sense of great team working between Soula and Rita to ensure that their customers have a great time.

I booked the blue lagoon trip, had an efficient phone call early on Sunday morning to say it was cancelled due to the weather, but went yesterday instead. Lovely minibus driver to the port, quickly on to the boat, saw the caves, with interesting commentary then onto the Blue Lagoon, which was stunning ! There was an incident that needed the lifeguard, which was handled very professionally. Onto Sivota which was a lovely little town, lunch in a Greek restaurant, home via another (shallow)swimstop.
Good value drinks on board and friendly crew, very aware of Covid rules.
An excellent trip, so glad I did it !

I went alone on the Paxos / Antipaxos boat trip on Sunday 26th June and it really exceeded my expectations. I was picked up promptly in Benitses by coach and arrived at Lefkimmi port ready to board the ship. A big selling point of this trip is the small boat size, I think we had 45 people on board? The crew were amazing from the start, the captain Spiro (or Spiros) sorry I'm not sure, was high energy and ready to make sure everyone had a good time. The 2 sailors on board (Christos <3 and Andonis I think) were also super helpful and lovely to talk to, and I would have loved to chat more.

The trip was the worst experience i ever had and ruined a day of our vacation. The boat is really crowded. People are crammed like sardines. We ended sitting inside, it was really hot and unpleasent. Some of our friends booked this trip and they were not told the capacity of the boat. We even wanted to leave the boat before the trip started sensing we were going to have a horrible experience . They would not let us - I wish we left. You can't have a good time with 200 other people in such a small space. The music was terrible. The captain seemed to play candy crush on his phone while sailing . He did not speak English very well and nobody could understand him. They also have a collection of snorkeling equippment (?!) - really unhygienic. Way better to spend more money on a private boat with skipper for this trip so you can have a better experience.

We contacted Messonghi before we arrived and throughout they were very helpful and efficient.
We arranged for them to provide our airport transfer and enroute to the hotel Soula discussed trips available.

We visited Corfu town twice, blue lagoon and Paleokostrista. All were great value and the restaurant at Paleokostrista offered a stunning view.

Thoroughly recommend all the trips amazing scenery and visited various secluded beaches.

Amazing service throughout.

Wow! What a truly amazing day.

We booked a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon through Messonghi Travel in the branch next to Apollo Palace hotel. We were helped by a blonde lady (sorry we didn't catch your name!) who was so helpful and really lovely.

The day was the best boat trip we have ever been on and also the best value for money.

We visited the caves, the blue lagoon, mainland Greece Sivota for lunch and then a private beach stop on the way back. All stops were breathtakingly beautiful and so much fun. The boat was NOT overcrowded which was a pleasant surprise. We had plenty of room to relax whilst travelling between stops and the crew were extremely friendly and accomodating, explaining the stops as we went.. even taking a slight detour so we could see dolphins up close!

Really couldn't recommend this trip enough, we had such a fantastic day. Thank you!
