We went to Orient Beach on a cruise excursion. Orient Beach is beautiful but when going with other cruisers, it is crowded. We had our own lounge along with the 100 others from our ship. The hotels around Orient Beach had similar lounges to distinguish...More

For what St. Martin has gone through, this beach was a nice place to visit on our cruise stop. There was a great little beach restaurant close by that we ate at that had great food. There was many local ladies there selling items and...More

We arrived at Orient late in the afternoon. There were very few people there. Only one place renting chairs. We did not come across any food vendors or others. The beach was pretty clean, water nice not any coral and very few fish. There were...More

I had heard nothing but amazing things about this beach from reviews online. The white sand beaches, mountainous seascape, and friendly locals easily sell this spot as THE beach to visit while in St Martin. Was told this was the "French Riviera" of the Caribbean...More

Sand needs to be raked and cleaned after hurricane Irma. This side of island sustained a lot of damage from hurricane Irma. Lots of sea weed on sand. Many structures , hotels, restaurants still need to be repaired.

I was prepared after seeing videos and pictures. I remembered strolling this beach back in the 80s. It was sort of like then, prior to being jammed with beach bars. I have to say it was a raw beauty. It was cleaned up with the...More

We always have gone out to orient beach when visiting sxm .. so we were anxious to support it again after Irma ... the beach needs attention as the seaweed is very heavy .. but that wasn’t the big issue .. we couldn’t believe there...More

Beach is in great shape and the area is just starting to rebuild. No problems driving up there or getting back. Currently primative bathroom facilities, but we had a great day.

Orient Beach is many miles from the airport. The beach at the airport was pretty much destroyed by the hurricanes and the sand washed away. It was kind of dangerous anyway and a much dirtier/sandier experience than most... More
