Irma destroyed all of the restaurants which were rebuilt 2 years ago, some that were older (Pedro's) and Club Orient. The beaches are still excellent, and progress is evident. The rebuild of the north side restaurants has started, Kon Tiki is BACK and excellent! We...More

Was here two years ago and what the hurricane did is so hard to see. No bathroom facilities...make-shift facilities to go in...trees mostly gone, seaweed all over the beach...the scenery is still beautiful looking outward from the beach. Much still under construction, but it keeps...More

We’ve visited Orient Beach 3 times in the last 3 years and it never disappoints. The beach is gorgeous, with fun water activities such as a trampoline, jet skiing, and parasailing. The beach restaurants provide great service while you’re lounging on the beach. At the...More

It may not be the beach it was before 2017’s Hurricane Irma devastated the island, but it’s still going to turn your head (and I’m not referring to the ‘clothing optional’ section). Located on the French eastern side of the island, it’s one of the...More

Even though Club Orient is not in operation at this time, there are still yellow umbrellas and chairs being rented and Perch Bar is in operation. Convenient parking on the property just off the beach. Turn left before the resort entrance down to new parking...More

Orient beach’s infrastructure and small beach front restaurants and shoos were destroyed in the 2017 hurricane. But, there coming back. The Perch lite is good food, same (but new) chair+, and happy hour is at 1:30 every day. Beach is wider than have seen in...More

We enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach at Orient Bay Beach. We decided to try the nude beach and enjoyed our first experience sunbathing nude. Very liberating. The management was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The 1:30pm happy hour...More

We fixed our own transport to the beach which was well stocked. This day it blew quite heavily but it was fun to play in the waves which was appreciated by the young people in the family. The water is clear and fine and the...More

Orient Bay Beach was hit hard by 2017 Hurricanes and sadly is not the beautiful, pristine beach I remember from 2015. Seaweed lines the shores, making it difficult to step over to get to the water. Beach chairs and umbrellas still available for rent, $20...More

Orient Beach Resort was still gone but the beach was fine. There were businesses open on the road in but not much toward the destroyed resort. There was a small bar there and chairs for rent.
