No matter the level of the practitioners, our rich and preserved lagoon offers us a wide choice of diversified dives: drifting dives, dives on coral drop offs, wrecks or ocean dives ... Private Scuba Dive for two. The Te Maru Nui company provided the Professional dive instructor, scuba gear, dive boat and the boat Captain. 2 tank dive day. First dive was a ship wreck at 80 feet. Very cool to be inside the old boat. The Dive instructor, Floraine, is very familiar with this dive site so she gave me the confidence to follow her into the actual sunken ship. The second dive was on the outside of the barrier reef (ocean side). Incredible variety of fish! A black tip shark swam by. Fun! Quite a professional operation. I think this company uses their boat for special snorkel tours. They speak French, and speak English, but the owner speaks good English. I would recommend emailing them to see if they can meet your snorkel or scuba diving, or boat adventure goals-needs. They were prompt with email and they designed a specialized trip for us. The boat holds about 10 people, but we were just 2. We went during covid precautions time, November 2020, so we set up a private scuba day and used social distancing.

Myself and my husband enjoyed two days of diving with Floriana. The experience was highly positive, she arranged diving in the best spots of the area, having the chance to see from small critters to big fish.
Everything has been done with high professional care (she checked throughout the whole dive that everything was OK) and we also appreciated little attentions between dives as tea and biscuits/cake.
Highly recommended !

Superb diving!
We dived at the miri miri site, along the coral reef.
Our instructor was really great and accompanied us very well (knowing that my last diving experience had gone badly, I was very stressed and my ears had difficulty hearing).
The group was homogeneous and there were only 4 of us. The instructor was therefore able to ensure that the descent went well for everyone and this ensured a great, magnificent 55 min dive.
We had an exceptional setting with the song of whales in the background, black tip sharks, barracudas, napoleons, cane beaks...
In short, a lot of life and on the edge of the deep blue, which is magnificent and impressive.
Surprise when we returned to the boat, we saw 3 whales 🐋 and around fifteen dolphins 🐬.
In short, thank you to the team for this great diving trip.

Very bad experience during our first dive.
Floriane is cold and unpleasant, her son is no better but since he hasn't spoken to us, at least he doesn't say hurtful things to us.
Does not try to discuss or put us at ease when distributing the equipment, leaves without telling us, leaving us stranded in the middle of the diving room, informs us when paying that "we had some luck" because the price increased between the date of the reservation and the date of the excursion, coldly asks us to take the equipment to the boat to "use something".
I would like to point out that I had asked her the day before by e-mail if our baptism would take place at sea or in the lagoon (we are seasick so we wanted to do it in the lagoon), no answer, she told us. said once equipped in the boat that we would go to sea.
Results: a stressful first dive, seasickness guaranteed, my husband couldn't even do the first dive because of his seasickness.
At the end, I even had the right to say "you're not cut out for that!" OMG!
In short, to flee, I don't understand why she settled in Polynesia other than to make money on the backs of tourists.
Instead, go and meet real Polynesians at least, you won't be disappointed...

merci pour ce commentaire TRES EXAGERE . Je vais revenir sur certain point . Les conditions meteos n'etaient pas au rdv et le seul endroit correct etait miri . je suis venue vous chercher a votre hebergement et en arrivant a la marina , je vous ai donné votre materiel, palmes masque combinaison et jaket ( et je ne pense pas avoir ete desagreable) je vous ai demande comme atout les plongeurs d'aller sur le bateau , les bouteilles, detendeurs sont mis sue le bateau avant l'arrivee des plongeurs .
J'ai relu vos mails et a AUCUN MOMENT vous precisez que vous aviez le mal de mer!!!
Apparement vous aviez deja fait un bapteme et je pensais que miri serait facile pour vous .
En arrivant sur le site je vous ai fait un breifing detaille avant la mise a l'eau , vous etes partie la 1ere car vous me dites SEULEMENT LA que vous etes sensible au mal de mer!!!!!votre mari dit que lui n'est pas malade.Nous avons quand meme plongé 25 minutes a 4 metres et vous etes remonté contente ( enfin je le croyais )
Votre mari n'a pas voulu descendre car pas tres a l'aise dans l'eau ( et ça c'est lui qui le dit!!)
D'ailleurs vous avez fait une sortie baleine et le encore votre mari est resté sur le bateau...
Il y a des personnes qui sont tres a l'aise dans l'eau et d'autre beaucoup moins et ce n'est pas mechant juste un constat
Vous m'avez dit aussi que votre 1er bapteme c'etait mal passe , facile de mettre la responsabilite sur les moniteurs!!!!remettez vous en questiion!!
Et enfin si j'eatais en Polynesie pour " faire de l'argent "le prix des baptemes seraient certainement plus elevé, je suis une des moins chere et vous avez beneficiez du code celia

We were picked up about 15 mins late from our hotel, there was no call etc to inform us or reception that they were running late.
When we were picked up we arrived at the marina in raiatea and was asked if we had our own masks for snorkeling, we had booked a tour of the vanilla farm and pearl farm so was a bit surprised to be told of snorkeling, eventually it transpired that we were at the wrong part for the tour we wanted but the tourguide came over eventually and picked us up.
The tour gide then picked up another guest who was destined for the snorkeling tour but this only became apparent when the guy asked the tour guide half way across to tahaa!
Luckily the tour guide was excellent and managed to come up with a plan so the guy could go snorkeling whilst we went on the tour as planned. There was clearly a bit of disorganisation at head office but the guide dealt with it well, the guy got to snorkel and was very happy and we got to go to all 3 places (rum distillery as well as vanilla farm and pearl farm).
I recommend the tour but check you're on the right one first before you depart!

We had a wonderful experience with Floriane for the two snorkeling trips that we took with her. She is a knowledgeable guide and took us to wonderful coral gardens. In addition, she has little attentions (tea, cookies...) that were appreciated. Highly recommended!

I passed my level 1 and my level 2 diving with this club. Very beautiful dives including a wreck and a drift. Very accommodating club, pick-up possible. And above all a huge big up to Ludo, a more than competent instructor and with whom diving becomes pure pleasure!!! I highly recommend

We set up a 2 tank scuba diving tour instead of buying our cruise excursion. This turned out to be fantastic for us and cost effective. It was easy to meet up, and the dive shop is close at hand. We did Teavitipi Pass and then the Nordby wreck. Back to the dive shop in between. They dropped us back at our boat after. Service was excellent, boat seemed like new. Could hold 8-10. Flo and Lawrence were professional. We would dive with them again.

Did a 2 dive trip, 1 near ofetaro island and the 2 of shipwreck. Communication with Floriane is exceptional.
guides were all amazing too. Tema, Lionel and Junior.
Would recommend for novice divers, like myself.

Coming off our cruise ship we found Te Mara Nui Plongee just inside the cruise terminal on the left. We departed with Florianne as our guide along with one assistant shortly after 9 AM and headed back for the pass where our ship had entered the lagoon. Masks and snorkels were provided, along with vests. We were advised against using fins as they disturb the water too much and impair the viewing.
First we snorkeled along the island to the right as we approached the pass. This was water with medium currents and was over our heads but we saw a lot of fish Then we went to the island on the other side which provided a much larger area all shallow (not over our heads) with a huge fascinating variety of corals and fish. Florianne asked what time we wanted her to come back to pick us up, suggested a couple hours but said that if we weren't ready then she would come back later.
Taking Florianne's advice, we walked to the far end of the island past rest rooms and picnic pavillions and found our way into the water. Wow! It was amazing We let the gentle current take us back along the island, got out at the beach, and did it over again. At first we were the only ones on the entire island but gradually more snorkelers, swimmers and picnickers arrived. When Florianne came for us we were starving for lunch so accepted a ride back to the dock, but if I had taken along some food I could have drifted my way through the afternoon.
This was probably the best snorkeling of our whole trip even though we were never out of sight of our ship, and it was at a very reasonable price.

J'aimerai découvrir le motu Iriru et le motu Ofetaro. Je cherche un" bateau navette" pour m'y emmener et évoluer en toute liberté. Est-ce possible ? A quel tarif svp ?

Merci pour votre message.Je propose effectivement des navettes pour le motu ofetaro,on vous depose quand vous le desirez et vous restez le temps que vous voulez,vous pouvez vous baigner,faire du snorkeling ou bien tou simplement rester sur la plage.sur le motu il y a ds douches des toilettes et des abrits.
Si vous retez lajournée je peux vous preter une glaciere palmes ,masque et tuba.
Le tarif est de 2500 cfp par personne ( 20 euros)
Si vous etes passionnée par le snorkeling nous pouvons vous amener dans la passe teavapiti pour une petite randonnée d'environ 30 a 45 minutes avant de vous deposer au motu ofetaro ( supplement 20 euros)
par contre je ne vais pas au motu iriru ( trop loin ou bien il faut louer le bateau pour la journée!!)
Je reste a votre disposotion pour tout renseignement complementaire
