I've been here the first time I started snowboarding and it's a very nice place to start. I haven't seen all the pistes so I prefer saying it's a medium skiiing area cause the more experienced ones liked it too.

Very cosy town centre situated right beneath the ski slopes. It was my first time skiing and the slopes are perfect for beginners or someone looking to go for their first time. The centre has lots of restaurants of good quality to choose from. Be...More

Skied down into La Joue by ski from Superdevoluy. The area seems to get less snow than Superdev which is odd as its the same height. Clearly going through transition, one chair lift seemed permanently not working but there is talk of a whole new...More

Second year at this resort. Bit of trek to reach but worth it. Very affordable resort in comparison to larger areas. Lunch in the cafes for under 50€ for five. ESF ski school really helpful and organised. Decent bar or two etc etc

After spending multiple ski vacations in 'La Joue', we went there for the summer. We were surprised to see the activity in the station. The 'Office du Tourism' really makes an effort to organise all kinds of activities of wich some are free: circus school...More

I can say I'm a very good skier, yet I just throughly enjoyed my second week on the slopes at 'La Joue Du Loup'. The slopes are very varied, and will appeal mostly to average skiers and families. For more experienced skiers, there are some...More

This is the third February that I have spent in La Joue du Loup. The ski-ing is lovely and I really enjoyed the easier slopes as I am getting older and like to feel safe. The Vi Ai Pi restaurant and the Refuge higher up...More

Need to advise that we own an appartment in LJDL so may be classed as totally biased. We bought about 3 years ago and ski there on average 3 times a year and also visit in summer. We are a mixed level family group where...More

Might be an idea to have a car, it's such a lovely area it would be a shame to miss out on things that are just that little bit further away like the serre poncon lake.
