Fantastic Diving

Great diving, loads of reef fish, plus larger life like Eagle Rays and Barracuda. All drift diving (drifts can be fast at times) on coral walls

Very nice corals and a paradise if you like to see small stuff when diving. Many turtles - and Mandarin fish.

Not really clean and just average, There's no something special anymore. But, still nicer compare the beach at Jakarta or other places beside Karimun Java. I've been to Raja Ampat and I think Raja Ampat, West Papua is a lot nice... more exotic...

Very good marine park to snorkling or diving. Best place to go with family or group. We have to go early in the morning to avoid wave when we go back to manado.

Well kept coral reef even if you don't dive in, you can still enjoy the beauty from the glass-floored boat which is so convenient. Once on shore, there are lots of mid-to-high-end resorts and also diving clubs to quench the thirst on snorkeling or diving. These are all completed with stunning view on the seashore, good accommodation, and most of... More

Really great dive spots, best diving I've had. Nice weather, enormous amounts of different species (rays, sharks, turtles, you name it), awesome reef.

The walls are in good condition and the soft and hard coral great. Reef fish are abundant, and pretty, but its hard to see a big fish of any sort,. I imagine despite this being a marine park, it is fished out...however there are loads of lovely turtles complete with remora fish hanging on for dear life, and this is... More

What I liked: - the amazing underwater biodiversity. - the water clarity (underwater visibility over 50 meters, you can see far away while snorkeling/diving) - the lovely, polite local staff - the very knowledgeable diving instructor - the beautiful boat trip to the surrounding isles such as Manado Tua and Siladen - the staff's diligence in cleaning the beach immediately... beautiful spots to dive and snorkel... by preference in the morning as the 'garbage' from nearby Manado floats in by midday ..; plastic bottles, plastic bags ... somtimes a strong current!

We stayed at Thalassa 5* PADI Dive Resort and made day trips to Bunaken, Siladen and Manado Tua for both diving and snorkelling. We saw many turtles and of course many species of fish. We also spotted a squid, some eels and orangutan crabs. The corals didn't seem to be that healthy though, and we encountered floating trash at some... More
