The temple is the main attraction in Subramanya. The temple darshan was quick and completed in 20 minutes. A huge car park is provided 100 m from the temple. Few restaurants are available on the approach roads. Expect large crowds during the festival season. Starting point for Pushpagiri trek. Lot of hotels to stay with different budgets

*Jan 2008 Transport: From Mysore, we traveled through Kushalnagar and Madikere to Kukke. If you have sufficient time on your hand, visit the raja seat at Madikere, and watch the sunrise, which is on the way to Kukke. The journey is about 5 to 6 hours. If you start at early morning you can reach Kukke by lunchtime. The place:... More

I have visited this temple on July 1st 2016. Due to heavy rain very less crowd. Dharshan has been done less than 15 minutes.

The drive into the woods to reach this temple was truly an experience! We took a cab to visit both Dharmasthala and this temple. Plan your trip in a manner that you visit the temple before dusk.

I visited this temple for an exclusive purpose of getting rid of my "NAAGA DOSHA". Anyone who has NAAGA DOSHA - would be suggested to visit this temple to perform "Naaga Samakaara", it is the pooja to get rid of the dosha. I suggest to have an advance booking for performing this rituals. I visited during June 2016 last week,... More

Way to this temple was simply awesome while leaving from Sakleshpura. Dharmasthala was also near by but we couldnt go there. We went for a special darshan, it took almost 3 hours as there was some pooja going on in temple.Maynot be the case always. We predominantly found people there for doing seeking Sarpa dosha pooja etc. Over all it... More

One of the famous temples in Karnataka. Located at about 100 KMs from Mangalore. The temple is dedicated to Lord Subrahmanya. Best time to visit is during off-vacation seasons and rainy season if one has to view the breathtaking natural scenery. Better to arrive in the evening, stay overnight and visit the temple early morning (temple opens at 6:00 am)... More

A special experience. Wood and rock temple with oil lamps at night. Be Clean when you enter the temple. Don't oil your hair. Wear Indian clothes. Men need to be bare chested when entering the sanctum. Can wear your shirt again after that.bring your kids for blessings.
