Travel: We (4 members) have started from our house in Whitefield,Bangalore at 5AM on 19th Feb 2017 in our Jazz car. We took Yeshwanthpur - Visweswarapura - Hassan - Sakleshpur route. Ghat road starts after travelling some distance from Hassan. But, the actual ghat road road starts after Sakleshpur. But, we have not felt it really complex(compared to Tirupathi, Srisailam).... One of the very few temples in India, where in Puja is performed with utmost dedication. Visit this temple is a must, to ward off Rahu, Ketu or Sarpa-dosha related issues. All types of Pujas like Aslesha Bali, "Naga pratishta", SARPA Sanskara" are performed to ward of evils of all kinds. Couples desiring to conceive, all others to improve health... More

It is indeed very serene place to visit. Had darshan on saturday evening. Crowd was less and it took hardly 5 minutes to enter the main temple. Took the coupon for Prasad from Seva counter and I must say everything is well managed there. Road after Sakleshpur is horrible. Though many politicians and renowned people have visited the place, still... More

Quite big temple. with lot of devotees around all time. Visiting Adi Subramanya is a cheering act. We visited on Saturday with little toddler, had a quick darshana and peaceful sight of Lord.

We went there to perform Ashlesha Bali Pooja last week. Generally during long weekends and holidays there is a lot of crowd. Otherwise I think it is not much crowded, this is what I understood from the temple folks. You can read temple history etc.. from web. Shirt is not allowed inside the main sanctum of the temple, although Pant... More
