Worth a stop if you are in the area. It is near many of the D-day landing beaches and close to Pointe du Hoc.

Saw this statue whilst driving along. Intrigued, so had to stop & investigate. Gardens are beautifully kept & statue is huge. I thought it was very beautiful but not sure it is in the best place. Only a little information. Also visited the local cemetery with some interesting grave stones. Also the bells from the original church.

Amazing statue. If you do not like statues, maybe the flowers would be nice. Both make for really nice pictures on a sunny day.
