About
Humprecht is unmistakably different from other aristocratic estates in its construction concept. The elliptical shape of its ground plan, the interesting lighting of the upper hall with a lantern and the untypical decoration of the roof top - a crescent moon - make it a unique monument that you will not confuse with any other. Interesting are also the bits and pieces of history connected to the castle.

A very interesting baroque hunting lodge with a magnificent view if a little scary. Well worth a journey and the surround lands are ideal biking and walking country.

A very interesting baroque building /a hunting castle/ on the top of the hill in the near of town Sobotka.
In the central part you can admire a 16 meters high dining room with a special acustic, the echo is 6-8 seconds. From the terrace in the 2nd floor you can see a wonderful landscape.

We enjoyed this historical building and the lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Definitely a wet weather programme visit.
