Beautiful, splendid!!! Full of colors, it is sublime.
Perched at the very top of Annaba it offers a 360 view of Annaba. The interior is in perfect condition and it absolutely makes you go upstairs to admire the view.

We enjoyed our visit here. A nice young man from South Sudan showed us around and explained about the new exhibit that explores the Bible, its history, its translations, its stories and its relationship to Islam. The inside has lovely stained glass, stations of the cross and other decoration.

I read the reviews talking about the beauty of the cathedral, but I was still taken aback at how lovely it really is. The place had this amazing peaceful energy, which is hard to describe other than by saying the stillness was palpable. Information placards in English m French, and Arabic.

Lying ontop of a hill, overlooking the bay of anaba, very well kept and beautifully renovated. The inside is finely decorated and beautiful, amazing church, set on a beautifull place, Majestical. St. Augustin traveled North Africa in his mission to unite all Christians, and this was his church he preached in, and to this day it is open and extremely well renovated and kept!

The history behind this beautiful basilica is amazing. Of stunning moorish architecture (a Christian temple of islamic design and architecture, amazing). St Agustin preached in an early church build on top of Phoenician and Roman temples. He wrote The City of God right here.

A must see! It’s so peaceful, restored so beautiful and a pleasure to visit. There always seems to be a priest around who will be happy to show you around. No tacky gift shops, which makes a welcome change. Was one of our first stops and glad it was.

To those who love history you must visit this place. Specially if you could find one of the church workers to go around with you in the tour. This Church reveals a lot about the Christian Era in Algeria under the Roman Empire, before the Empire became Christian.

I went to this place twice , the first time was with my family , the second one with my teacher and my classmates
I'm a Muslim ,and I find this place #spiritual , #calm , #historical_place
, #nice_view, #amazing_architecture, and the priest is a nice person , he answered our questions and give us a lot of informations
PS : the is not the real basilique of saint Augustine , the real one is near to that place ( u should read about it)
- there are police officer in this place but I advice you to take caution when you're heading there ,I prefer to take a car to go to that place ok (I live in annaba that's why I know this)
