We’ve didi wine testing with friends from Celje. We had 4-sortes home wine-tasting and snacks and it was nice. The host was so kind and welcoming, guided us through the wines and their concept. It’s organic, eco-friendly and beautiful. . Nice service. Bought few bottles to take home.

We were totally ignored for over 15 minutes when we arrived and left standing with no acknowledgment or greeting, despite the bar man obviously seeing us. When we went into the bar and asked for a tasting, there was no welcome at all and we were told to go and read the board at the entrance for the tasting options. We saw that everyone else who arrived after us was given the same non-welcome and at least two couples left without ordering.
The lady who served us the wines was pleasant and explained the wines, as was a waiter who arrived later, but unfortunately it didn't make up for the rudeness when we arrived.
We also visited Zure and Popic wineries on Korcula which were both very good and with extremely good service.

We visited this winery some years ago as part of a private group. Their grandmother was still alive and working. As part of a three course meal she made her wild boar stew. It was one of the best dishes I tasted in my life.
The wines were amazing. They told us they did not export anything as their entire stock was sold to local restaurants.
About a week later we were staying in Oribic. Visited a restaurant who had the wine. It still tasted amazing. Croatia has many great wines and wineries. I feel blessed to have shared an evening with this amazing family and their great wine. I wished we had luggage that would have enabled us to bring some home.

What can I say? This is the place to visit if you want to spend some time at a winery in Korcula. You will be greeted by the family that runs the business and make the wines. They will tell you how they do it and if you give them good notice you should be able to have a light or full meal here. I will be back here next time I visit Lumbarda.

The winery is set in a beautiful location (note the shortcut from town, rather than the longer and better signed route when approaching the town).
The wine is excellent and the staff were incredibly nice and gave us a tasting despite us turning up when the winery was closed. Our guide book (Rough Guides) says that the winery was open from noon until 10pm, however they only accept walk-in guests between (i think) 10.00 to 12.00 and 18.00 to 20.00.

Went for wine tasting, and received a few drops of two sorts of wine they produce without any info on the wine (apart from the name), production process and information about the winery or wine. Young staff (assume part of the family that runs the winery) was very much uninterested to provide any kind of service or info. Would not come again.

It is reasonably difficult to find, but I recommend that you visit the Tourist Information in Lumbarda to get a map, then ask for directions on the way.
Beautiful wine cellar, in beautiful surroundings. The wine is above average, but not the best I've tasted in Croatia.
Unfortunately the owner was unfriendly and came across as impatient and irritated with us. He hardly gave any information on the wines, resulting in a total tasting time of 10 minutes for 3 wines and no purchase of wine.
I would not recommend this establishment to friends.

We had hired bikes for the day and found this little winery at about 11:15. Fortunately it was open, as the standard opening hours are quite restricted, as it is a small family run business. We had a tasting which included 4 wines (rose, white, red and sweet red) plus nibbles for 90 kn. The white wine, Grk is only produced in this small area and makes a delicious dry white. Whilst in the area, you must try it?

We walked to winery from the town. The scenery and the winery itself was very nice. The wines were good.

We walked from Korcula town and this was the first one we came across. We were there for 10 when they opened and it was already quite busy. The wines we tried were lovely and each one was paired with a little snack which was a lovely touch. The guy doing the tasting was informative but softly spoken so it was a little difficult to hear him over other parties on the terrace talking. It is far more expensive than other vineyards at 90 kuna per person compared to 30 or 40 kuna at other vineyards but all the same it was lovely.

Sorry, just saw your question now. We had a travel concierge who booked for us. Most are drop in, but I would suggest calling to book in advance. The tastings are limited so it is better for them to be able to plan, but also better for you to not be disappointed if they are full when you arrive.

How much cost the wine testing (without food) ? And how much type of wine contain? Thanks
Written August 19, 2019
4 tastings (which are way more that a tast) which comes with a beautiful plate of food is €25 pp. it’s well worth it. Prices go down from that depending on how many tastings you’re doing. I’d suggest all 4. It’s a Sparkling Rosé (which I loved and bought a bottle of for €17) a still Rosé (also excellent at €12 a bottle) a Grk (€22 a bottle) and a Plavic Mali (€18 a bottle).
