Absolutely amazing place for everyone to visit.
Very eye-opening and educational for everyone, especially If you are interested of birds and nature.
People working there are very friendly and they clearly love the nature and are willing to teach you more.
We will be coming back here for sure !

Wish I could give it 10 stars

Ornithology pros study bird migration and share fascinating stories about birds they follow. Ask about an osprey named Cousteau. Also telescopes you can use yourself, a live cam, and birdie souvenirs for the children.

Others have already said it: this is a hidden gem

If you're a nature lover--or even if you're not--this is a must-do stop. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable, and the interpretive elements are very well done. I didn't see a lot of very exciting birds during my hour-long visit, but it was nevertheless worth the stop.

Are the birds or the wonderful staff the stars?
Jul 2019 • Family
We went to the bird center and saw tons of birds including a spoonbill, stilt, heron, egrets, and various ducks. Simply wonderful! Txepe explained all about the birds. A great place.

Exceptional

Even though early June is not peak bird viewing at the center, we still spent 90 min. + enjoying the exceptional facility. What a gem in an unexpected place. Totally worth a visit if you're even remotely interested in bird life. What a wonderful resource for the region. There are live video feeds from across the globe to watch bird migrations as they happen. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Amazing, beautiful and fun

A beautiful and well-thought out observation and information center on migratory birds. Great for birdwatchers as well as families and nature-enthusiasts of all ages, incredible views of the estuary from the observation tower as well as two nearby look-out posts. Kind, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Would give one million stars if possible!

Amazing visit
Nov 2018 • Couples
Wonderful place to spend an hour or so. Informative and well managed. We went in the fall and saw dozens of different species of birds - many types of waterfowl, shore birds, herons, and birds of prey. They have binoculars and spotting scopes there so no need to bring your own. Try taking a picture with your phone through the spotting scope. Would visit again.

Really good, well worth a visit whether a bird spotter or not
Sep 2018 • Couples
Visited here on Thursday 27th Sept. Was initially unsure whether to go in, as we are not real “bird spotters”. However, we were really please we did as both the exhibition part was really interesting/ informative, and the staff were really helpful too. They helped set up the binoculars and point them on the birds and were really helpful/ knowledgeable. Well worth a visit whether you are a bird fan or not, you will be pleased you went.
