Such an amazing experience to go to this small island well known as Dragon Stone for Game of Thrones fans. The ride there is a bit complicated, especially in the winter, but with such amazing views. I really enjoyed the hike to this wonderfull place.
To go to the island, you can arrive by plane to Bilbao, take the bus to Bakio ( a 45 min ride and very cheap) and then take another bus to the parking lot near the island. From there you will have to go by foot about 2 km.
I strongly recommend to go by foot from Bakio. It's a long way, but trulley worth it.

Cabo Matxitxako is a cape located in the coast of Bizkaia, in Basque Country, from where you can see nice views of the sea and two lighthouses, which are pitifully closed. Also, from here you can see far the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and do an excursion in the surroundings. Ok.

Paid a visit here with our 5 year old and 1 and a half year old toddler, took us about an hour and a half return trip. Amazing views all along the walk, would recommend visiting in the morning and during the week if possible, passed by on Sunday and was very busy, and parts of the walkway are relatively narrow.
