We walked in without reservations to sample their wines and they were very welcoming! Their wine was so delicious! We purchased by the sample. We bought a bottle of the 2009 Gran Reserva. Would've bought more and the crianza but had limited space in our luggage.

We arrived late for our tour but because it was quiet we were warmly welcomed and taken on a tour. There was just the 2 of us and Maria took time to explain everything well and show us around. Her English was excellent as was her passion for winemaking. We also got to see the art exhibition. Then we tasted two wines.

Whether you love wine or not you have to visit this place. First of all it is super interesting to learn the history of the place and understand how long, expensive, and complicated it is to make such a common drink. Secondly this place is TOP notch in terms of cleanliness, organisation and professionalism.

This bodegas we stumbled upon from a walk in the wetlands below Laguardia. The staff were excellent, plenty of wines to try. Some very unusual varieties. We got great recommendations of where to eat in the town too.
