Very cool architecture; nice tour!

My wife and I signed up for an English tour; you can't get into the building without a reservation. We arrived two minutes late. The staff didn't seem to mind much, but the other... read more

We were shown around the winery by a delightful English speaking guide. She was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. The tour was completed by a tasting of some very expensive wines accompanied by bread sticks and chorizo for balance. It cost 12euro per person. It was worth that just to enter the reception which is more like the entrance to a... More

The vineyard is located in a beautify building. It's a must visit if you are visiting this part of Spain. Worth a visit even just for vising the outside.

My wife and I signed up for an English tour; you can't get into the building without a reservation. We arrived two minutes late. The staff didn't seem to mind much, but the other customers seemed a bit perturbed. Oops! The tour began immediately after our arrival and everyone seemed to loosen up a bit. We enjoyed the tour around... More

We've visited vineyards / wineries all over the world but Ysios is in a different league! Having experienced a tour of a traditional small family 'bodegas' in the town the evening before, charming as it was, this was in complete contrast. Naturally we enjoyed the wine tasting but go for the architecture of the winery which is almost cathedral-like; ultra... More

Ysios, belonging to Pernod Ricard is a new bodega. The visit was brief but well explained. There is a tasting at the end in a beautiful lounge with astonishing views of laguardia. What I missed: We were not shown the grapes, the land, the vines... The guide walked slightly too fast. She was friendly. PS: if you like my post,... More

Like nothing in Napa (or anywhere else)! Incredibly designed building. The wines good but not our faves. Make sure to book in advance of just walk the grounds to take some photos!

We booked the tour a couple of weeks before we arrived in Rioja. The building is stunning and even more so after the tour guide explained the thinking behind its design. The tour was very interesting and it is a very modern way of making wine. The two wines included in the tour were very good quality- 25€ and 65€... More

This bodega which was designed by Santiago Calatrava can be seen from the village of Laguardia. The contours of it's architecture fits in very well with the mountain just behind it. It's also quite spectacular close up and very easy to photograph. Tours have to be booked beforehand which I didn't do as I had very limited time there. Therefore... More

We loved the beautiful architecture of this winery, which was done by famous Calatrava. It fits so well with the surrounding environment. The guide, Amaya, was excellent, with lots of knowledge and charm. The tasting was very good and the room has a great view.

We wanted to see the building - but it was closed and we were told to leave by the guard. There are views of the winery from Laguardia. It is a stunning building and is worth a drive by.
