歴史が変わるきっかけかも

　運河沿いにこの公園はありました。かつては海岸沿いだったそうですが、今ではかなり沖合まで埋め立てられています。この砲台は、恐らく後から再現されたものだと思うのですが、幕末の歴史を感じさせる公園だと思いました。

ペリーの来航をきっかけに異国船の再襲来に備えて造られた砲台跡

ペリー来航に対して、幕府が品川宿の立会川の浜辺に大砲８門を備える砲台を築いて異国船の再来襲に備えました。
近くに土佐藩の下屋敷があり、あの坂本龍馬も警備の任についていたそうです。
公園の中にその大砲1基が復元されています。
当時は目の前は東京湾だったのですが、今は埋め立てられてしまい勝島運河になっています。

土佐藩の砲台を復元

浜川界隈は、かって土佐藩の下屋敷があり、ペリー再来航後の安政元年に立会川河口左岸に8つの砲台が設置されたが、坂本龍馬もここで仕事をしていたとされる。ちょっと前までは砲台跡地として観光スポットになっていたが、2015年に近くの新浜川公園の中に砲台の一つが復元された。品川龍馬会のメンバーを中心に地元の人々が資金を集めて造り、区に寄贈されたもので、新しい観光スポットになっている。一部が復元されているので、浜川砲台跡というのは昔の呼び名と思われる。

レプリカですが立派なものでした。
歴史を感じることができましたね!!

지나가다보니 젊은 사람들이 이 곳에 많이 모여있더라구요. 날씨도 좋았어서 저도 잠시 이 곳에서 쉬었는데 너무 좋은 시간이었어요.

京急線立会川駅を降りて、坂本龍馬像を拝み、旧東海道を越えた新浜川公園にあります。ペリー再来港急遽設置されたとの事ですから、いかに脅威だったのかが伺えます。
若き日の龍馬を想ひ。

旧東海道からはちょっと離れます

旧東海道をランニングで旅していた時は気づきませんでした。旅の振り返りをしていて砲台跡がある事を知って訪れましたがわかっていても迷う。品川龍馬会の幟が立っていたのいてよく手入れされていました。案内看板などをもう少し充実させると良いと思います。この砲台跡のある公園にはトイレがあるのでランナーにはありがたいスポットです。

ペリー来航に対抗した土佐藩の砲台跡

京急立会川駅から海側に歩いて旧東海道を越えると5分ほどで到着します。途中の稲荷神社の入口に坂本龍馬像が建っています。
江戸時代は、砲台跡から東側は海岸で1853年のペリー初来航後に土佐藩が次の来航に備えて砲台を設置したそうです。砲台脇の防波堤が散歩道になっています。
今日は、この後旧東海道を品川宿まであるいてみたいと思います。

立会川駅近くの台場跡

トクガワ・ショーグン・オーヴァーロード時代末期の砲台跡です。アクセスは京急立会川駅が便利かと思います。今は往時の面影はあまりありませんが、今でも船溜まりがあり付近の史跡などと併せて訪問するのが良いかと思います。

小さな公園

住宅街にあるすごく小さな公園内に砲台のモニュメントがあります。坂本龍馬ゆかりの場所です。砲台はかなり小ぎれいでした。
