We went as a family with grandparents, parents, one auntie, a three year old and an 8 month old. It was a fun afternoon. We arrived on a Harvest Fest day and so yummy hot corn on the cob was included in our admission. We got a ride in a wagon pulled by a tractor to the pumpkin patch. Great for small kids being introduced to real farm animals. We picked out our own pumpkin and picked it off the vine ourselves. Enjoyed petting sheep, calves and goats, holding chicks-bigger ones-and watching pigs play. Even got to hold a milk bottle for baby goats. A hit with the whole family.

We did the barnyard, my daughter (3) had been wanting to ride a pony. She loved looking at all the animals, feeding the cows, and petting the bunnies. She was thrilled with her pony ride. We didn’t realize they closed at 4 so had to rush to leave. We all had fun though. The baby goats were very chewy, done a few goat pettings before, this was the first time getting clothing wrecked. They did a feeding shortly after so maybe they were all really hungry.

Kids had a great time and we would go back for them. Found admission to be a bit pricey. Pens seemed to be a bit run down which was disappointing.

We took our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to Tiger Lily Farm in Errington on a busy Saturday afternoon. A celebration of fall was taking place that day that included corn on the cob, scarecrow building, a wagon ride through the forest and a visit to the pumpkin patch. The Tiger Lily Farm has been well thought out, providing many 'hands on' opportunities with chickens, rabbits, sheep, goats, etc. If you are lucky enough you can find a freshly laid egg in the nest boxes. Troyz on-site food trailer can provide a warm lunch and a hot or cold drink as well. There's lots to see and do at Tiger Lily Farm.

Three of us booked an hour long trail ride. The price is quite good but we did the same loop multiple times. We found out that because the forestry roads were closed due to fire bans they have to stick to their own property. Everyone in our party felt the person who booked our ride should have disclosed this information. We expected to get a decent trail ride but were disappointed. Now the roads are open I will be booking again but just be aware if you are booked during a fire ban be sure to ask about road closures.
