Went for a visit, the beach is a lovely large beach, very clean. Well worth spending a day there. Few amusments for the children. There is also a lifeguard on duty.

Yes, but off the pier, usually on the corner of the river by the lighthouse, but also on the south side overlooking the beach.

There is plenty of free parking along seafront and off the roads leading from it. Also parking around the harbour (about 3-4 mins from beach). The earlier you get there the more closer you can get. I live locally and have... More
