Awesome experience! Our only complaint is that the place is quite small and was extremely full! It felt quite tight! Definitely not comfortable. However the experience was a lot of fun! As we had never seen sumo fighters before, it was awesome. People could participate and“fight” them! Very much fun! They were very polite and nice as well! Food was pretty good! Don’t expect fine dining. We were very happy with the overall experience! Totally recommend it!

It was a fun time, good food. No where near $111 worth. More like $50 worth. It was pretty crowded as well.

Two ex-professional Sumo Wrestlers gave us a demonstration. They also allowed the audience to challenge them which was a bit of fun. We had lunch incuding soup which is tradiontal food for them. Then afterwards they answered questions. Learnt a lot about the Sumo tradition - all in all a great experience

A very perceptive guide that customizes the tour to her clients. Our family’s interest centers around sumo so off we went to view a practice session at a stable. The amount of time, we were there is perfect. Nearby is a park for the 2 boys to run off some of their energy. We take a side tour where we outfit ourselves in kimonos. What fun! We return to the Sumo Stadium where boys in training are there for promotions-so appropriate and of interest. We sit as an audience upon tiered platforms. Sumiko finds an authentic and delicious Chanko nabe lunch, served in a renovated stable. We end at the metro station where we engage ourselves in comparing our hands and heights of former Yokozunas . Sumiko, thank you for a wonderful day.

Wow! The sumo experience is quite a comical and absolutely enriching one! Knew nothing about sumo and this activity did open up my eyes on their great loyalty and integrity to maintain the sumo title. Hardship and passion are a must. Recommend this activity to all ages.
