Going around by car or bus definitively it is not a good choice in Tokyo, once the transit is very heavy almost all the time. Underground is the best choice (apart from rush times)

really not that expensive to use..and they travel all over the neighborhood..but i feel they are difficult to use for tourists like me that dont read Japanese..because the routes in the stuff are written so..but they do look very clean and cozy

It is a cute and small bus. I enjoyed to see the daily life of the city's people. You can get the little route maps at the tourist center.
