こちらは、両国駅南口を手てほぼ正面にある横丁です。
小さな飲食店がたくさん並んていました。
次回は夜に伺いたいと思わせるところです。

両国らしいネーミングですが、普通の飲み屋街です

　ＪＲ両国駅の南口前に、この横綱横丁がありました。相撲の街、両国にふさわしいネーミングですね。
　狭い路地なんですが、横丁の両側には、ちょっときたなっぽい飲食店が並んでいます。名前から想像して、ちゃんこ料理のお店なんかもあるのかなあと思いましたが、ないようでした。

ＪＲ両国駅南側にあった雑多な感じの飲み屋街

　ＪＲ両国駅の南側に、横綱横丁の看板が架かっていました。通りを歩いてみると、雑多な感じの狭い路地に、たくさんの飲食店が軒を連ねています。大相撲の街、両国らしく、ちゃんこ屋さんもありました。

JR両国駅の南側、駅を出てすぐにある小さな通りです。両側には飲み屋や有名な豚カツ屋などが立ち並ぶ、夜に楽しい通りてす。

飲み屋街

JR両国駅東口付近から、南を走る京葉道路の方へ抜けていく狭い路地です。
基本的には雑多な飲み屋街なので、昼より夜の方が賑わいます。昭和の雰囲気を漂わせる店から比較的最近出来たであろう店まで色々あります。
変わったところでは「勉強カフェ」なる、有料自習室の発展形のようなスペースも最近出来ています。

両国駅東口前から続く商店街

JR両国駅東口から南へ真っすぐ京葉道路まで延びる全長120～130ｍほどの商店街です。
元力士のちゃんこ料理屋や、居酒屋などB級グルメな飲食店が立ち並んでいます。
横丁の南北入り口のアーチは、両国らしく、両国国技館を模したデザイン！
日中に通ったので、横丁はピーク前の静かな雰囲気でした。
南口横には、芥川龍之介生育の地の説明板が立っています。
なお、写真送信が不具合のようで、添付できません。
