今は亀沢第一児童遊園になっています。

この初代三遊亭円朝は幕末から明治に活躍した落語家です。彼は落語の噺をまとめた人物の一人です。特に人情噺は得意だったのです。この場所は明治になってから転居してきて約20年間住んだようです。今は児童公園の一角に表示があります。両国にあった人物です。

看板が有るのみで痕跡は全く無い

看板が有るのみで痕跡は全く無い、しかもその看板、修正が幾つか入っていて非常に貧乏臭い、修正と言えばここトリップアドバイザーの登録されている住所も違っているので修正依頼を出しておく

江戸から明治時代にかけて活躍した落語家

都営大江戸線両国駅を降りて北斎通りを東に進み、少し北側の住宅街に入った小さな公園の中に案内板がたっていました。三遊亭円朝は江戸時代後期から明治時代にかけて活躍した落語家で、明治9年から28年までこの地に住んでいたとのことです。
