青梅街道と環七との交差点を北に行った、環七沿いにある寺院です。

高円寺の青梅街道の近辺は寺町といってもいいほど寺院が集まっています。南側にはお祖師様(妙法寺)があるので、日蓮宗の寺院が多いようです。
この観音寺は環七に面していて、建物も極めて近代的なので、教会か斎場のような感じがしました。

東高円寺駅から西へ徒歩5分、青梅街道と環七の交差点を西に渡り、北へ目を向けると看板が見えます。家族葬や少人数の葬儀に向いているお寺です。

青梅街道と環状七号線の交差点から環状七号線を北へ向かい、直ぐ左手にあるビルに「観音寺」という看板が見える筈です。お寺というより斎場です。
