The show was beyond amazing if you like crazy dancing robots, costumes, floats, and live action! It was a great mix of syfy, fantasy and entertainment! You can feel the excitement just walking into the place. The lounge was out of this world and had live music before the show started. It is hard to describe the show until you... More

This show is indescribable. Complete madness. Very much worth the cost of ticket considering how many performers in the show and how enthusiastic they all are. Would have liked to come earlier to get a seat in the waiting area. Even the bathrooms are unlike any other (gold urinals). Craziness.

the blatant attempts to sell drinks and merchandise are close to being a scam. The show has some potential and can be somewhat entertaining but also, please don't call it a robot show. Some guys in costumes that pretend to be robots might fool a first-grader.

I'm mildly cynical and can't stand ironic art or anything overly Kitsch, so naturally I assumed I would hate it BUT this show was a crazy fun time. My husband and two young teenage children loved it as well. Those going here expecting a "restaurant" or real robots might be slightly disappointed but the experience in itself is a must-do... More

Great show, trippy and very entertaining. Go before show begins to enjoy a drink and watch some live music played in a dope as all hell room. If you love the whacky/ kawaii Japanese pop culture or the even just the obscure in general do yourself a favour and see this. Eat before you go, this is not actually a... More

Not sure what to expect from a place called "Robot Restaurant", but I was expecting at least to eat and to see some robots. Actually, the place had neither. It was more of a light show cosplay performance by dancers some of which were dressed as robots. Still a fun show, don't get me wrong, but not really as advertised.... More

A nice idea, a great ambiance... Until the show starts! Very old and decadent, a small room for the show, a bad and expensive menu (not included in the ticket). The dancers are nice but every costume and car/ robot are really old. Not worth your money and your time in Tokyo. You better explore the nice bars and shops... More

From the minute we walked in the front door the atmosphere was electric. On stage in the waiting area with bar was a guitar playing "robot" who was awesome. The show downstairs was full of high octane performances combining actors and robots and the room is small enough that everyone is close to the action. Can't rate this show high... More

Had a heap of drinks with mates out. Lots of sake was had and It was awesome. We think there was a strip club at the end of the alley but apparently it wasn't. Drinks were awesome and the sake of the hook. Get into it. Awesome

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
