「法正寺」をご存じでしょうか？都営大江戸線・牛込神楽坂駅A3出口を出て徒歩2分ほどの浄土宗の寺院があります。こちらで今年9月には写経会が行われ参加させていただきまました。持参するものは筆ペン、参加費。ほのかなお線香の香りと雑念を払い、瞑想と同じような心穏やかにペンをとりました。とても良い機会でした。

それほど派手派手しいお寺ではありませんが、なんとなく奥ゆかしくて感じのいいお寺でした。

神楽坂にある法正寺の創建年代は不詳となりながら、かつては、田安屋形の近くにあったものが、市谷本村への移転を経て、寛永6年に開山したと言われています。

大久保通りから北に入っていったお寺で、参道のような小道には繁栄稲荷神社などがあり、雰囲気が良く、散策が楽しいお寺です。

神楽坂界隈を散策した時立ち寄りました。この界隈は住宅地ですがお寺が多く、住宅とお寺が混在している感じです。これと言った特徴がない普通のお寺でした。観光名所と言える要素はないと思われます。

浄土宗の寺院で、榮松山念想院と号します。地下鉄牛込神楽坂駅で下り。大久保通りの北側を暫く歩き、大久保通りから小路を上がったところにあります。
