「日宗寺」をご存じですか？四谷三丁目駅近隣の円通寺坂を下ったところにある日蓮宗の寺院です。山門入口の近くには日蓮宗の信仰する法華経を釈尊から末法の世の中に法華経を弘めることを命じられた大変重要な菩薩の浄行菩薩像があります。また本堂の前には日蓮大聖人の立像があります。身を清め心のえりを正して念じ参拝するのも良いでしょうね。奥の墓所には江戸初期に活躍した歌人・北村季吟一族の墓もありました。

四谷から信濃町界隈を散策した際に立ち寄った日蓮宗のお寺です。住宅街なのですが、お寺も多くあつまっていて不思議な一角にありました。観光的な要素はあまり感じられませんでした。

日蓮宗日宗寺です。
入口に入ると正面に日蓮さんの2メートルくらい像が眼に飛び込んできます。
こんな小さなお寺に、こんな大きな像があ印象的です。

新宿区若葉にある日蓮宗の寺院で、高見山と号します。住宅やマンションが密集した地域にあります。山門から見える大きな僧侶の像が目を惹きます。

創建1619年の歴史ある日蓮宗のお寺で、山門を入り直ぐに日蓮聖人の銅像があります。但し全体的に申し上げれば、質素なお寺です。

新宿通りから南へ坂を下りた処にある。元和5年、麹町に創建、その後現在の処に移転してきた。道路横に山門があり、その先に古い本堂が立ち周りは木々が並んでいる。

四谷の円通寺坂を下ったところにある日蓮宗のお寺です。
山門の左手に浄行菩薩像が安置されています。
浄行菩薩とは法華経に出現する菩薩様で、水が垢や穢れを清めるがごとく、煩悩（苦しみのもと）の汚泥を洗い注いでくださる水徳をお持ちの菩薩様です。
