The area
Address
Neighborhood: Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.

We went to take pictures in the electric stairways in the entrance surrounded by mirrors. It´s a very Instagram picture and it was very cool to experience it. There are more people wanting to do the same but people just wait for the prior group to take their picture and it doesn´t take long.

I guess the main restaurant here is the Starbucks, there is an outsider deck which is excellent, you have a great view, places to sit and hang out. Nice spot. The building itself is nothing special, small stores most average brands. Not much

Tokyu Plaza's kaleidoscope entrance is one of a kind! I suggest having a perfect instagrammable photos on top of the entrance's stairs wearing your most gorgeous outfit!
Like Tokyu Plaza's garden in Shibuya, Tokyu Plaza in Harajuku has a garden as well located on the 6th floor which is the same floor for their cafes and restaurants. Aside from that Tokyu Plaza is also filled with high-end boutiques for shopping!

Located on the corner of harajuku and i cant remember what main road it is. Boutiques are almost western so we didn't spend much time here since we're looking for local products. Interesting to see cosplayers within the area as they are dressed uniquely. We would like to visit the groc if there is but cant find it. Monster cafe is a few steps away. Walking distance to harajuku station.

Building Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku is located crossroads interesting to watch, especially with the style of the building and its unique architectural design, makes us want to look into it.
Some merchandise with famous international brands and local from Japan can be found here.
At the top of the roof, there is an open space that can be used to gather together in various forms of activities. Interesting and unique architecture of the building!

We popped along quickly on the way to Harajuku. The shopping centre wasn't open but it looked nice and photogenic.

This is a fancy multi story shopping mall in Harajuku especially the eye catching kaleidoscope ceiling at the entrance. The building itself was quite an nice architecture to behold. There were lots of brand name shops and restaurants and cafe. There was a nice outdoor garden terrace area just outside Starbucks on the 6th floor with public outdoor benches and steps where one could relax and enjoy the skyline of Shibuya. Trees were planted on the terrace to provide shade so it’s a nice place to cool off.

Only a few stories high this is a quite small mall with some retail stores and eateries.
We did not stay long and walked inside and up the escalators after alighting from nearby Harajuku Station.

The first thing you’ll notice is the entrance. It has a huge entrance way with funky mirrors that makes for some great pics. As you walk along the floors, the mall gets pretty similar to other malls but keep heading up to the top floor where you’ll find the best Starbucks I found in Tokyo.
