There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.

Staff need re-education or replacement.
The location is fantastic... right in the heart of bustling Shibuya. Endless shopping, dining entertainment right at the doorstep. A minute to Shibuya station. Decor is modern and quite hip. Rooms and beds are quite compact, but decent size for Tokyo. Comfortable and clean.
Recruitment/training practices are flawed. Staff are terse, unhelpful and rude. It’s a shame to leave with a sour taste because of this. Could have been a wonderful experience.

Well known for the scramble-crossing and Hachiko statute the area was under much construction the past few years we dropped by. So it was good news that new setups are established after all the hard Work.. We decided to make a trip to see the new rejuvenation.
Still much area under construction and we have to navigate a bit to finally find the place. Shibuya Stream is the latest skyscraper to open in Tokyo's Shibuya district. It is at the South side and part of a massive redevelopment project of the Shibuya Station area. Touted to be the revival of the Shibuya river and beyond. The building comprises a hotel, dozens of eateries, office cum commercial space and is built on top of the Tokyu Toyoko Line’s . Part of the compound is also connected to the up-coming Daikanyama area from Shibuya stream.
From the outside the Inaribashi Square is where we were after exiting the Shibuya Station. It is a long, horizontal grand staircase connects this square to the 2nd floor of Shibuya Stream. See attached pic. it is illuminated in LED lights, making it a massive illumination spot. The view of the entire staircase lit up is really fantastic, especially at night we believed. At the same place we can see Shibuya River flows alongside “Shibuya Stream”. There is also an artificial waterfall ebbing creating a water curtain that gets all lit up in beautiful lights! Visitors will be welcomed by a beautiful scenery of water and lights display.
The first few floors are dedicated to shops and restaurants/eateries. We visited the more commonly mentioned ones, some places have very limited seating like Luke's Lobster, are essentially takeout shops (only 3 tall desk...).
A good space to take a walk with friends or loved ones, while enjoying open-air cafes, events, and shops situated along by the river, overall a nice place to visit but appears lacking specific charm or wow factor for a definite revisit..

Good assortment of restaurants and a hotel in this new development.
Not much to shop for but certainly some good dining options

Really close to Shibuya crossing and busy Shibuya centre , there is this complex of restaurants and bars, more quiet and easy going... It is 3 or 4 floors of bars and restaurants, some of them worth a visit.

Great location, although on the opposite side of the more popular areas, but badly designed - difficult to access, cold and windy in the main shopping area, and a cheap feel about the build and quality compared to say Hikarie. Avoid the Craft Beer Tap - terrible amateur service, like I have never experienced in Japan. Could be a great concept, but this could sink before it ever takes off. Not worth the visit.

Shibuya Stream pairs well with Shibuya Hikarie across the street. A nice respite to break from the hustle bustle of Shibuya including the wild scramble crossing, an event unto itself.
I visit here often. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th floors have many restaurants worth exploring, including an excellent Spanish restaurant(XIRINGUITO Escribà) from Barcelona.
New building places in Tokyo attract large crowds when they launch. Visit early and reserve when you can. Some places have very limited seating and some, like Luke's Lobster, are essentially takeout shops.
