I visited Emi’s private cooking class with 3 friends. I haven’t tried cooking Japenese food before but Emi was a very friendly and patient teacher. She was very knowledgeable and put us all at ease straight away. I’d highly recommend Emi and her classes!

While there we learnt how to make some nice dishes in a very fun and welcoming environment. Any questions I had she answered in easy and understandable ways. When I gat home I’m definitely showing off with the things I’ve learnt.

EMI taught 2 of us to cook teriyaki chicken, spinach and mixed sesame seed salad, miso soup with tofu which were all delicious! We had a fun night, learnt a lot and would highly recommend this experience with EMI in Tokyo for anyone!

Thank you, Chris and Adrienne! I really enjoyed cooking and talking, too. Interesting, fun and very comfortable time. If you can find shiso (ohba) or myoga, try them. They also are Japanese herb.
