About
Fashionable cat cafe MOCHA (Mocha) of topic by TV and a magazine. It is a cat cafe that can be enjoyed with confidence even for the first time. I was particular about the interior so that people and cats could easily spend. It is a cozy space like a cafe and a kind of living space. Please feel free to stop by. We are developing 20 stores.

Neighborhood: Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.

The best cat café ever
Feb 2020 • Couples
Excellent!, the cats are beautiful, they are very sociable, the place is very clean, definitely you can have a good time, having a coffe and some beverages for one hour or more. I recommend it.

Cute cats but that's all
Sep 2019 • Couples
Certainly not a pleasant experience. We had to change shoes, grab the free drink (from vending machine), drink it, pet the cats, re-change our shoes and leave in order to pay the minimum fee. Of course we failed for just a few seconds and had to pay almost twice as much.
The rules are clearly explained at the beginning so nothing to complain about that.
The place is nice and the cats are cute. Just quite uncomfortable, and awkward.

Beautiful cats
Mar 2019 • Couples
We visited this branch and must say that the cats were well looked after and friendly and seemed comfortable in their surroundings. I suggest that before you visit you get fully ready including going to the toilet as because as soon as you turn up the time starts ticking and you get charged for the time you are there!

Don’t waste your time and money.

Fur visibly flying everywhere... it is dirty. Expensive, per minute charges. This is not a cafe... you waste your time here.

Tourist trap - but my daughter loved it.
Jan 2019
Don't get confused between them as this is the only one that does allow kids under 13.
We went to the one in Shibuya at the end of Central Gai only to be turned away because kids under 13 were not allowed in. They were very sorry and gave us a discount voucher for this one. "Cat Cafe Mocha Harajuku Takeshita Street" Its located 50m across from Harajuku train station 1 stop from Shibuya train station.

It cost 200 yen ( AUD $3) for every 10 mins and its timed so your constantly watching the clock. You also have to purchase a compulsory drink ( AUD $5). The cats were beautiful and its work it to see the different type as they were cute.
Make no mistake though its more like a petting zoo than a cafe, It all tourists and no one sat around reading a newspaper with a cup of tea and a cat by their feet. Im sure there are place like you imagine but this isn't it.

Cuteness Overload!
Nov 2018 • Family
Be sure to have cash on you as it is a cash only establishment. Full of all kinds of breeds of cats, both young and old! All very well cared for and healthy. Also loved being able to have a drink and play with the cats. It was warm and bright too, staff were friendly and accommodating and spoke good English.

Nice cats and atmosphere, somewhat boring experience
Sep 2018 • Couples
We love cats and stopped by Cat Cafe Mocha to visit. I think the concept is good considering the limited space in Japan to own many cats. Here, you get to visit with several breeds. However, as cats are generally nocturnal, a visit during the day was somewhat boring. The few that were active had several guests around them and I didn't want to agitate the cats or take a fun experience away from other guests. There are a variety of cats and that is a draw to any guests. The setup was nice, the operators set the place to offer the cats a fun place. I'm not disappointed that we took in this experience as it made me appreciate my 3 cats. At the same time, I wouldn't have missed this experience.

The cats seemed happy, I recommend getting some treats
Sep 2018 • Friends
This was an interesting gimmick - the cats seemed happy but most were only really interested in the people who had treats for them. So I recommend you purchase some cat treats. One of the cats was being groomed so they are well cared for. This was fun to do something different but I probably wouldn't go back

Love cats
Jun 2018 • Couples
Another odd thing you find in Tokyo. We have a cat and love cats and this seem like heaven for cats. They have strict rules for entering something i think is good for example dont force yourself on the cats and they take charge for every 10 minutes. So if you dont want to spend alot of money you need to hurry. The cafe is really clean and nice and that makes me wonder where the cats pee or pop. But the cats seem happy.

So worth it!
Jun 2018 • Couples
My husband and I visited cat cafe mocha in Harajuku twice and we loved it! The cats have the best set up you could possibly imagine and they are so well behaved and looked after.
Personally I could spend all day in this place.
Any cat lovers this one is highly recommended!
