About
It is a quiet park that takes advantage of the natural forest located at the southwest end of ginkgo row trees extending radially from Denen-chae station, which takes in the musical aspects of Musashino. In the park there are 1,500 flowers and trees of about 70 species such as Ume, Sakura, Tsubaki, Sasanqua, Kunugi, Chi, etc. There are living creatures such as ducks in a pond with spring water, and about 300 shares of Kisho bloom in May. There is also a fountain that takes into consideration the ecology of the frog frog.

東急電鉄東横線・目黒線の田園調布駅から、歩いて5～6分の場所にある公園です。

久しぶりに、こちらの公園を散策いたしました。園内の紅梅と白梅が綺麗に咲いていました。池には、多くの野鳥の姿が見受けられました。

駅から遠いし突出して観るべき物の無いので地元住人が散歩する以外の用途がない公園。勿論遠方よりワザワザここを目的に観光で来る場所では無い。

・・歴史とともに開設されてきた公園です。澁澤榮一の田園都市構想に基づき東急が昭和の初めに開発した分譲地で、基本的に田園調布の西口ロータリー側は、100坪(330㎡)の分譲地が基本です。現在は、その街並みを守るために一般社団法人田園調布会が組織され、相続などによっても分割は最低165㎡と定められています。宝来公園は、そのロータリーの左から2本目の道をまっすぐに行って4〜500ｍのところにあります。当初は、前方後円墳の宝萊山古墳がありましたが、公園開設のため、掘削した経緯があります。多摩川台公園の亀の子山古墳、連続円墳から始まって、この宝萊山古墳は一連の古墳群と考えられています。公園自体は池があって、木々が生い茂り、武蔵野の自然を有して、古くから近隣の人たちの憩いの場として親しまれています。

田園調布駅の西側から、周囲の景観と著しく異なるKFCの右側を少し歩くと、この公園の一番高い場所に到着します。一般的な街の公園と違って、子供の歓声も聞こえず、静かな公園で驚きました。特に見るべき名所とは思えませんでしたが、田園調布に行ったら散策してみるといいかなという感じです。
ただ多摩川駅や多摩川台公園の方から向かって最も近い池のそばと、上記の入口付近ではとても高低差があり、違う公園のようにも見えました。

田園調布３丁目あたりは、敷地や建物に対する規制が厳しく、その分緑が多く残った町並みとなっていますね。宝来公園はそんな田園調布を象徴するような存在で、園内には木々が多く生い茂り、池もあり、散策路が整備されていました。
遊具はほとんどなく、子供が遊ぶとういうよりは、大人がゆったり過ごす、いかにも田園調布らしい公園だと思いました。

宝来公園通り沿いにある公園でした。
地元にある公園とあまり変わりはありません。

田園調布3丁目にある公園です。地元の方向けの公園ですので、これといった目玉になるような施設はありませんね。
昔から、子供たちの遊び場や地元の小学校の写生会の場所などにも使われており、地元住民には慣れ親したしんだ場所です。

公園内で高低差があるので、歩くだけでも運動になります。池にかえるがいそうなので、冬しか近寄りません。

田園調布の町並散策の途中、休憩する場所として利用するだけ。近くなら多摩川台公園へ行くべき。花壇も整備され、古墳や副葬品の展示館もある
