青梅街道沿いの静かな神社

青梅街道沿いの練馬区関町にある神社です。
こじんまりとした神社ですが鳥居を潜ると綺麗に掃き清められた境内の先に本殿がありました。天明４年（１７８４年）頃の創建だそうですが、今の建物は当然ながら新しいものです。
それでも静かな境内はかつての武蔵野の面影を残していました。

創建は不詳とされているようですが、江戸時代中期という説4が有力のようです。
最寄駅は石神井駅で、本殿はあまり大きくはなく、鳥居も設置されていますが、地元の人しか知られていないような地域色の強い神社です。この名前になったのは平成三年です。

青梅街道沿いにある

石神井駅の南側にある。青梅街道の歩道から参道がまっすぐある。少し入った処に石造の鳥居があり、その先に木造の本殿がひっそりと立っている。本殿のまわりには高い木々が並んでいる。平日午後、静かであった。

青梅街道沿いの神社です

青梅街道を西に向かい、練馬区関町南辺りに左手にある稲荷神社です。竹下新田が開発（天明四年1784）された頃に創建したと推定されています。練馬区教育委員会による竹下稲荷神社の由緒に関する掲示板がたっています。
