表門の前はバス停が有ります　余り大きくない門を潜ると中は広く整備された景色が広がります　裏側に巨大なマンションが有り不思議な感じがします

昔ながらの歴史を感じさせるお寺

立派な門があり、昔ながらの歴史を感じさせるお寺です。
隣接した幼稚園があるので、昼間は園児たちで賑やか。
季節の花が綺麗だと、散歩コースにしていく人もいるようです。

想像していたよりも立派でした。

なかなか辿り着けなかった東福寺、ようやく江古田地区3回目の散策で見つけました。それでも東福寺を先に見つけたのではなく、隣接の幼稚園の名前を見た瞬間にこの近くにあると感じたのでした。真言宗豊山派のお寺です。牡丹の花が咲き誇っていました。
