We are not Star Wars fans but we were entertained. The same space also offers a fantastic view of Tokyo. The same ticket allowed entrance for another exhibit: Simple Forms. Which is a nice modern art introduction for our young kids.

Sits high atop a sky scrapper above floor 50. The views are amazing and the art is integrated and sometimes look out. The museum is well laid out and never felt overcrowded. It was a good way to see both the city from atop as well as enjoy art at the same time.

Mori Art Museum is always in the foreground of modern art! It brings you a lot of the latest and trendiest exhibition! The building itself is already worth a visit! Amazing view, amazing structure! A lovely place to spend at least half a day!

Art lovers in Tokyo are rightly proud of the contemporary art museum housed in Mori tower. But it's the rooftop views that most tourists come for. It's a spectacular sight, especially near dusk, to see a city of 35 million people roll out before you, high-rise towers as far as you can see in every direction.

The small entry price includes the Art Museum and many displays PLUS the 360° viewing gallery over the city. Superb value! I visited during an extremely popular 'STAR WARS' exhibition and 'SIMPLE FORMS' - also very good. There was a MANGA exhibition that I would have liked to have seen, but that was extra and I just didn't have the... More

My wife and I first tried to go to the Simple Forms exhibit on the first weekend of Golden Week. Big mistake! By opening time, the line was hours long. So we came back a couple of weeks later, and it was a much more reasonable twenty minutes. The combined ticket to Simple Forms and Star Wars Visions was a... More

We went to the museum and bought a ticket for it. This is at the 3rd floor. When we arrived in the museum at the 52nd floor we went to the Star Wars exhibition and the simple things exhibition. After that we wanted to go to the Naruto exhibition, but it turned out this was not in the ticket. And... More

We went for the Star Wars Art exhibition, and we went during Golden Week. Yes, the entrance line was lengthy, about 70 minutes of waiting. But the paintings, movie props, and videos were fun and the views were stunning. If you are looking for quick and cheap food afterwards (it's a very fancy neighborhood), there are plenty of choices in... More

Be prepared to line up. Wait can be up to two hours during peak period. Make sure you visit when it is not public holiday in Japan. Also, not a lot of free activities in this area.

This should be a must see visit. The location is amazing (great views) and the exhibit space is truly special. Close to other museums as well.

More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
