Good cinema for foreigners.

A great cinema in Roppongi Hills, big screens and very very good audio. But also a little bit more pricey than other cinemas around, I saw a film in 3D and it set me back 2600yen... read more

I'm not sure if this was a one-off mistake or consistent negligence at all Toho Cinemas, but I took my two 4-year olds to see Paddington at the Minami-Osawa Toho Cinemas, and before they showed the film, they had two disturbing trailers. One was for a crime thriller in which a mutilated corpse in the trunk of a car is... More

IMAX, 3D, 4D --- comfortable seats, ability to reserve seats online beforehand and avoid the lines. You can drink a beer. What's not to like??? Shinjuku location in Kabukicho is the newest, but all of them are excellent.

I have been a long time fan of Roppongi Hills's cinema experience. Comfortable, assigned seats and the best freshly popped caramel popcorn in existence. It is definitely pricy but it's a high class theatre in Tokyo so what could one expect (there is a special theatre that is used for movie premiers-- tickets last time I checked were 3000+ yen).... I've been here a few times - definitely worth paying more for the 3D Atmos or 4D viewings - costs around Yen 2000-2600 depending on whether you need to buy 3D glasses. I've been a few times (007: Spectre, Star Wars: Force Awakens etc) and it's been great. Also, wednesday is "ladies day" so tickets for women are only Yen... More

A great cinema in Roppongi Hills, big screens and very very good audio. But also a little bit more pricey than other cinemas around, I saw a film in 3D and it set me back 2600yen with glasses, but it was money well spent. Good place for foreigners, they show films in english (albeit with Japanese subs)..

This theater is centrally located in Roppongi Hills shopping area. They have movies that could be played in 3D or 4D. I have not seen any movies with those features but I have seen several movies without 3 or 4D. The surround sound and the pictures quality are great. I will continue watching movies there.

Nice stadium seating, and the surrounding shops and sculptures are fun to look at. Good prices for us (they have a discount for older married couples)

It's a really nice cinema with a huge screen. We had some trouble finding it as it wasn't indicated very well in our guidebook. It is a rather long walk from the Roppongi Subway Station (it took us 15 minutes) and in between Roppongi Hills buildings. I would recommend going there well in advance.

Walked a long way only to discover the entire mall including the Toho Cinema theatre is completely fenced all around and under renovations. There was no indication or warning online this would be so.

Saw Hero6 with my family, higher prices than we experience in Georgia / USA, but quite good sound, seating and food. Excellent theater that can accommodate we English speakers. Thank you.
