Great!

Greatest view of the city, also the perfect spot to take pictures of the Tokyo tower! I recommend to go early in the mornings, we were the only ones when they opened at 10am!!!

Fantastic 360 degree view of Tokyo but nothing there other than a vending machine. Lot's of quite serious photographers taking photos and a great spot in the evening to take a photo of Tokyo Tower lit up. Seating around the observation deck but would be nice if you could get a glass of wine to relax & enjoy the view.

You can see beautiful Tokyo Tower from here. The entrance fee is 620 yen (2015 Dec). It's much less crowded than Tokyo Skytree. It has chairs to sit, and vending machine too. I like this place more than Tokyo Skytree.

This is a must-see place. From the 40th floor we saw the entire skyline of Tokyo. This was part of a tour arranged by our hotel. Enjoyed the sceneries and beauty of the city day and night.

Planned to go there at sunset ( 17:00 in October ) and there was already so many people there ! Good thing about here is tripods are allowed, which is very uncommon in most of the spots in Tokyo, which explains the crowd ! and everyone is facing the tokyo tower side and every piece of window could fit in... This is one of those places you go to see everything and try to orient yourself, and to appreciate what a large and developed city it is. Worth the effort, if that's what you want.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place very much. Quiet music, comfortable places for sitting, tables to put a camera on, very quiet. And of course the views are stunning.

This seaside top observatory is located at 40F of the World Trade Center building of Japan just above Hamamatsucho station. Perfect place to stop by before going back to the airport using Haneda monorail. The entrance fee is cheap with no time limit so you can move freely around the observatory and enjoy coffee or tea while watching Tokyo from... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
