周囲にマッチした教会がかわいらしい！

ドイツ大使館の並び、南部坂の中ほどに傾斜にバランスとりながら立っている印象です。元来、日本基督教会として活動していた歴史あり、1941年に現在の日本基督教団教会となったようです。1918年現在の地に移り、1996年改修工事され完成、木造２階建ての可愛らしい教会は一粒社ヴォーリズ建築事務所によるものです。幼稚園が隣接しています。

有栖川宮記念公園の南側に沿った南部坂に面しています。小さな教会であまり目立ちませんが、建物の前の樹木に控えめな電飾が飾られていました。寒空でしたが、どこか暖かさを感じる光景でした。

三角アーチが素敵

「南部坂教会」をご存じでしょうか？有栖川記念公園に面したドイツ大使館のお隣にある教会です。
併設された幼稚園もあります。ヴォーリズ設計の簡素で小ぢんまりとした教会で南部坂を挟んだ北側には有栖川記念公園もあります。
自然豊かな環境のよい立地、エントランスに続く石段は10段に満たない三角アーチのブルーのドアが印象的です。見る角度によって木漏れ日に照らされる教会は白い壁が清楚な雰囲気をかもし出してくれています。

有栖川宮記念公園の向かいにある

当初、麻布南部坂教会は港区東麻布で伝道を始め、1918年こちらに移転してきた。日本基督教団として活動している。建物は、ホールと礼拝堂などを重層的に組み合わせたデザインは素敵である。

大きな教会ではないですが、シンプルで地味が造りは好感が持てました。

麻布界隈を散策した際、ドイツ大使館のそばにあったこちらの南部坂教会を見つけました。大きな教会ではないですが、シンプルで地味が造りは好感が持てました。場所柄なのか、この辺りは外国の方も多く国際的な雰囲気が漂っていました。

立派なもみの木！

有栖川公園前、ドイツ大使館とナショナルスーパーの間の小さな教会！
かなり歴史があるそうです！

一見地味な建物ですが、礼拝堂は趣きがあって素敵です！

教会前の立派なもみの木も印象的でした！

幼稚園も併設されている南部坂にある教会です。隣はドイツ大使館。周りは大使館なども多く、歩いている人も外国人を多く見かける為、週末のミサは外国人が多いと思います。
