曹洞宗の禅刹

麻布十番商店街から近い大黒坂から坂を上った所に建つ曹洞宗の寺院で２・２６事件の青年将校の墓がある事でも有名です。寛永12年（1635年）佐賀鍋島藩初代藩主鍋島勝茂が息子の鍋島忠直を弔い建立した寺院で以後鍋島家の菩提寺として歴代藩主と重臣の墓が祀られています。本堂の裏側の林の中に五輪塔の墓が31基祀られています。静かで厳かな境内で必見の寺院です。

佐賀鍋島藩主の菩提寺

賢祟寺は、大江戸線麻布十番駅から徒歩5分くらいのところにある曹洞宗の禅寺です。入口から長い坂道を登っての参拝となります。この寺院は、1635年に創建された佐賀鍋島藩歴代藩主の菩提寺です。立派な本堂、鐘楼等があります。後で調べてみると女優川島なお美さんの素敵な墓があるとのことです。次回は探してみようと思います。
