広尾駅を降りて、有栖川宮記念公園沿いに南部坂を登っていくと、左手に野球場があり、その反対側が天真寺になります。住宅街に囲まれており、大きな寺院ではありませんが趣のある山門がとても印象的なお寺でした。

臨済宗大徳寺派の寺院で、佛陀山と号します。麻布野球場を道を隔てて南側の一角内にあります。出入口は２ケ所あります。

お寺は古く歴史がありますが、ごちゃごちゃしていて、どこに何があるかわかりにくいです。墓地にある梵鐘は古そうでした。

「天真寺」をご存じでしょうか？東京メトロ日比谷線広尾駅から徒歩10分ほどの南麻布３丁目、仙台坂上近くの麻布運動場の東側にある臨済宗・大徳寺派の寺院です。
土塀が続く立派な山門は歴史を感じます。小ぢんまりとした境内は楼閣もあって本堂は比較的新しい感じです。また江戸時代後期の松江藩主松平不昧との関わりが深く、遺品が数多く残されているようなので公開があれば拝見したいものですね。

仙台坂上から麻布運動場へ行く途中運動場の対面に建つ臨済宗大徳寺派寺院。筑前城主黒田右衛門左綱政が開基、仙渓禅師が開山で寛文元年（1661年）に創建された寺院です。境内は広く堂々とした山門、鬱蒼とした林に建っ鐘楼となかなかの物です。さすが臨済禅寺ですね。

麻生にある歴史あるお寺さんです。本堂と道を隔てたところに墓所があり、福岡藩主・黒田家の巨大な墓などがあります。
