大岡山駅目の前の正門から入っていくと正面に講堂があります。その前の桜並木が物凄く素敵です。近隣には目黒川など桜の名所と言われる場所がありますが、ここの桜の方が余程立派で地元民は毎年楽しみにしています。
秋には銀杏並木が色づき、黄色の絨毯になりますがこれも素晴らしいものです。
構内からは東急大井町線、目黒線が見える絶景ポイントもあり子供は特に大喜びです。
東工大は寛容で、構内は住民に完全オープンで色々な人が楽しんでいます。時に「行き過ぎ」な人もいるのか「研究の妨げになるので大声を出さないでください」の看板も出ていましたので、マナーを守って楽しみたいですね。

日曜日とかはいつも閉まっていて 一度見てみたいと思っていました。
展示会場は２階と地下。まず２階へ。
8畳ほどの部屋が３つほどあり。まあ古い感じのにおいがして、まあまあこんなもんかなと思いましたが とりあえず地下も見ようと行きましたところ、いろいろとありました。古い機械だけでなく ロボットの原点となるようなものとか ホログラフィーの展示物とか、人がいなくても きちんと見せているところに感激しました。
はい、見に来ていたのは私一人でした。
機械だけでなく 陶器やタイルもありおもしろかったです。
無料です。

大岡山駅前、東工大正門横の奇抜な建物の中にあります。常設展のほか、企画展やセミナーも時々開かれます。だれでも無料で見学できますが、さすがに少し難しいかもーーー。

２０１７年にはノーベル生理学・医学賞を受賞した大隅良典栄誉教授のノーベル賞メダル公開記念展示がありました。大岡山駅から徒歩１分の立地です。

오오카야마역 근처 도쿄 공대 정문 옆에 위치한 박물관. 외형이 워낙 독특해서 바로 눈에 들어온다.
대학 부설 박물관이라 나름 전시내용이 알짜.
다양한 상설 전시 중에서도 시노하라 카즈오 백년기념관에서는 일본의 유명 건축가 시노하라 카즈오의 다양한 건축작품들을 작은 모형크기로 만들어 전시하고 있다.

東急大岡山駅前の東工大大岡山キャンパス正門を入って、すぐ右側の奇抜な建物の中にある。建物は百年記念館と呼ばれ、建築科教授だった篠原一男氏の設計。地上４階地下１階、飛行機をかたどったと言われているように、4階に翼のような張り出しがある。１階は休憩室や簡単な展示など、２階と地下1階が展示室、３階は会議室４階はレストランだ。東大の東京駅前の博物館には比ぶべくもないが、東工大が果たして来た役割を良く理解できる施設だ。

東急線の大岡山駅まえにそびえる特徴ある建物なのですぐにわかるかと思います。さすが理系大学の博物館らしく、工業文化の変貌に関心しました。付近は東急病院など特徴ある建物も多いですが、その中で際立っているよう感じました
