This is one of those classic Japanese parks which is small but has everything you could possibly want, especially for an afternoon with the kids. The heart of this part is a pond that is the source of the Tachiaikawa River (although the river now flows underground in its upper reaches, so the outflow from the pond here isn't visible). The pond is home to fish, turtles and waterfowl as well as a small shrine on an island. It's pleasant to stroll around the pond... More
