Food was normal, price wise not really cheap but nice place to relax though. Gundam cafe was just beside AKB48 another theme cafe.

Go here for Gundam history and everything Gundam! You even get to make your own Gunpla box and kit. There are 3 movies in a dome theater. Definitely worth the paid section.

Huge. giant and cool Gundam just standing in front of you! Unfortunately, this big toy is not available very soon (I am not sure when will it be taken down, I only know in 2017).

My son and husband absolutely loved this place. We only visited the store and musuem which was free. We didn't do the paid attractions. There was an epic selection of kits and coming from Australia, the prices were excellent. Just wish we had more space to buy more kits!

Gundam front located inside diver city mall in Odaiba. Another attractions that able to see in Odaiba is Tokyo tower. Not much tourist coming to the place during our visit. The surrounding area is much more office buildings. If you are a big fan of Gundam then you should visit this place.

My Favourite Gundam RX78-2, finally get to meet in person. Morning show was different from the night. It use to have smoke display, but I didn't see it this time. Night show was fantastic with projection of lights show on Gundam. Bought my souvenir cup and 2 small figurine. Didn't have enough time to the indoor display as we went... More

Seriously cool thing to see, especially if you are a fan of the anime. I would definitely recommend visiting because where else are you going to see a life sized replica of a mobile suit.

I had loads of fun at the photo spot, and the life-size and scaled models were all really cool. I would only recommend it to people who are big fans of Gundam, because I doubt anyone else would get much out of the place. Sadly it will close in April, but I've heard it will go through some changes and... More

The full scale model of Gundam which is currently in display in front of Tokyo Diver City. Getting here is easy but might cost a bit since the train to Tokyo Diver City isn't fully covered by JR Pass and Subway pass. Coming here in daytime or night will give a different impression. I came here at night where the... More

I visited at night and unfortunately didn't get to see the Gundam in action (when it moves around and is interactive). I'm not sure if it's worth a separate visit as the rest of then neighborhood is a boring shopping mall.

Thank loveDCA

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
