The area
Address
Neighborhood: Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.

It's a typical duty free mall with many stories. You can find all brands from overseas here. There is a food court on the ground floor to cater to different tastes buds. I wish they have more seating areas to accommodate the visitors. The highlight of my visit is surely the Unicorn Gundam transformation. It was amazing! It's a short show but I enjoyed every bit of it! I love the quiet atmosphere in Ueshima Coffee House. Food is fresh and Wifi is available. I was disappointed with the coffee that comes with the meal though... too sweet to my liking. This place is easily accessible by the train.

We came here one evening to get something to eat and the place is buzzing with Japanese’s teenagers. The food court sends to be a great place to hang out with free WiFi and plenty of choices food wise. Managed to tune it to see the unicorn Gundam perform over of its shows, impressive. Worth checking out.

This is one of many shopping malls in Odaiba and is the latest one.
It has wide aisles and large spaces so easy to walk with trolley, and also have a lot of spot for kids.
Such as the VR museum, a play garden with projection mapping and facilities for bouldering and trampoline, these need admissions separatory but not so expensive. Good for spending time on a rainy day with children.

It was a pretty neat shopping area and has some unique stores and other shopping malls nearby. The main reason we went was to see the giant Gundam statue though! I would say that if you aren't a fan of Gundam you could probably find another place to shop but if it's close by then go for it!

If you're looking for a place to play unlimited arcade games, roller skate, bowl, or hit up the batting cages, Round One located inside Diver City is the place to go. Diver City is pretty accessible from central Tokyo. Not only does it have Round One, but of course a large number of other shops, restaurants, a food court, and last but not least, a huge Gundam statue (and the Gundam cafe!).

We had a great deal of fun at Diver City. There is so much to do and so many food options. Just don't eat at the India place they tried to poison me.

A modern mall with many well-known brands and department stores to suit all tastes. Of course, the highlight for many will be the life-sized Gundam statue located in the plaza. There's a fairly large food court in the basement as well, thought it was pretty crowded when we were there at about 2pm on a Sunday.

Nearest station to the mall is Daiba station on the Yurikamome line.

This mall looks like other modern malls in Tokyo plus a Godiva ice cream shop. It's my first time to try their ice cream, although it's a bit pricey than the normal matcha ice cream across the street, it tastes like it's real frozen godiva chocolate and it has nice preparation too!

The infamous Gundam robot can also be found at the back of the mall. I grew up watching Bioman, Maskman and Shaider and I'm really facinated to see a giant robot upclose!. It would be more awesome if people can get inside and able to control it even for just a few steps. I will not be surprised after a year or two, that Gundam robot is already running around Odaiba being controlled using a mobile app.

Massive shopping centre with a big robot. Hard to beat. Oh, lets only 63 characters so here is some filler.
