This is a MUST if you visit Tokyo during Cherry Blossom Time [last week of March through to late April].
A short walk SE from Shinjuku Station will take you to a Park entrance. It is beautifully laid out with various international gardens dominated by the Japanese style.
During Cherry Blossom time the park is resplendent in blanketed shades of pink, white & red interlaced with ponds, lakes & rock formations.
All in all a magical experience.

This a huge park which is worth a visit! There are different seasonal flowers/ plants available and is very educational. Do take time to drop by to admire the beauty and also the fresh air. If you are itching for a jog, this is a good place to do so.

Of the many parks in Tokyo, this is one of the attractive gardens to visit, because in addition to the arrangement of their beautiful garden, also equipped with a wide collection of free animals at the zoo, which is part of this park. Free entrance ticket.

This park combines a garden and a natural zoo (free of charge).
There is also a fishing pond, playground equipment, and plenty of greenery, making it a wonderful park. I visited on a holiday and it was full of people. It's truly a place to relax. Simply wonderful.
