It's 15 minutes away from Tokyo station by train. You can enjoy picnic, BBQ, Ferris wheel, bird watching and etc., also feel a refreshing breeze.

If you're into either birding or bird photography, this is a great place to visit. It is easily accessibly by train and fairly well signposted so you'd be spending most of your time looking at the birds rather than dossing around looking for the areas of interest. For a novice birder, like me, it was great as the park has also put up huge posters naming in Japanese, English and Latin the various birds at the park. Even if you're not into birding, the Park is beautiful and boasts a picturesque waterfront. Across the waterway, you can see the towers of the magical kingdom of Disney. If it starts raining, you can pop into the aquarium. Be warned though - some of the more remote toilets within the park do not have toilet paper.

This place is a must-visit whenever I'm in Tokyo. I haven't been on the Big Wheel or visited the aquarium as I've always found plenty of other stuff to see and do there. Depending on the time of year, you'll have a different range of birds to see. I've been in March, May and September with very different sightings each time. You can do some sea-watching on the man-made islands or head off to the dedicated birding area and get several species that you would otherwise likely miss.
Great park.

When we visited the park in early April, cherry blossoms were full bloom, and there was a beautiful tunnel / walking track made with cherry blossoms.

The park has the largest Ferris wheel in Japan, and you can enjoy the great view of the area including the airport, Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower and Disneyland.

It is only one station away from Maihama (the nearest station to Tokyo Disney Resort), so it's a nice day trip from the resort area.

Good for walking and running 🏃‍♀️
This is one of Power spots! Able to see Mt. Fuji, Rainbows 🌈, Crane bird, River kingfisher bird etc. Anybody can enjoy here all day long 💖1日中楽しめる飽きない公園広場!

We have been there for BBQ with friends. The BBQ space is great and the park management would provide necessary BBQ goods you need(paid). The park is huge and have lot of space and some attractions for the kids. Really great place for your weekends!

Lots of open space for kids to run around, bbq or picnic. There are a few food stalls selling the usual junk, I tried a hot dog and some tacos although wouldn’t recommend either.

There is a large Ferris wheel which charges 700en for anyone over the age of 3, ie no discount for kids.

The aquarium isn’t the best in Tokyo, but has a couple of largish tanks, one which included several hammerheads. For the price it was good though and the kids were happy. There is a large restaurant in the aquarium, the majority of dishes are fish based, even the usual port Katsu curry was replaced with tuna.

Overall it is a good day out and a chance to let the kids run on grass, something we don’t see much of in Tokyo.

As a keen birdwatcher I was recommended to visit Kasai Rinkai Park. I spent a whole day at the site enjoying the walking tracks and the different bird viewing areas. I particularly went to the aquarium to see the Tufted Puffin display and this did not disappoint watching the puffins swimming under the water was fabulous. An enjoyable day out of the city. Good restuarant as well.

This park competes with its neighbor Tokyo Disney, in some ways no contest, although it is worth a stop if you are in the area, with its Sea Life Park, beaches, Japanese garden and lotus pond. It has wonderful walking paths (unlike Disney), a huge ferris wheel, the largest in Japan, and actually operating, it offers birdwatching, more. I walked through it from Disney and in the direction of Sky Tree

The park is ideal for families with kids, as a couple we enjoyed walking here but with kids it would be great, near the ferris wheel which in itself is worth a visit
