I live in NYC, so we have a DSM of our own, but I come here whenever I'm in Tokyo because I always leave with something unexpected. The staff who work the Comme des Garcons and Noir Kei Ninomiya sections are especially lovely and helpful;...More

I love fashion! And this store is fashion. Very cool clothing and accessories. Loved the concept and the designer that shows there. Even if you don’t have the money to buy it’s cool just to scroll around.

We were lucky to enjoy the July sales. This is not a cheap place to shop, but its well worth it. Some of the best Japanese and European brands available. Parts of this market was like walking through an art exhibit. The staff were extremely...More

For the fashion-conscious, this has to be a must-go! Multiple-floors (think it is 7 or 8) of great designer stuff especially from Japanese designers! The staff were, like in all of Japan, courteous and helpful! Bought some stuff from Bathing Ape and the staff were...More

If you have enough cash to splash (unlike me) and fond of non-mainstream fashion design (like me); if names such as Rei Kawakubo, Grace Coddington, Franca Sozzani or Rick Owens are not alien to you; and if you find a way to blank out the...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
