A large shrine and an excellent example of Japanese religious culture. Very peaceful and a mind numbing experience.

The shrine was nice but smaller than I'd expected. I did get a lot of good pictures as there was a wedding procession happening while we were there. Although there were a lot of people it was respectfully quiet and relaxing.

Kanda Miyojin was a very pretty shrine but I was a disappointed at how commercialized this shrine was with all the anime merchandise for purchase inside the shrine grounds. The charm you can buy for protection for your electronic devices was pretty cool. I was...More

This is a very pretty shrine and a must place if you are a fan of the Love Live! anime. You can even get charms and ema boards with the anime characters on them.

Nice Shrine and was a simple walk from my hotel in Akihabara! Worth a visit. I went in the evening and it was quiet and peaceful. You can buy some Omamori from here it will make a great Souvenir.

The shrine was nice and quiet and well-manicured. I love the little statues of the dogs guarding the shrine. This was opened very early in the morning at dawn.

It was our first visited shrine in Japan. It's amazing that shrines are among other very modern buildings.

Hidden away, this shrine was a very pleasant stop on a walk around the area. Not very far from Akihabara it is close to another few larger temples and shrines and could easily be missed.
