Chanced upon this shop while walking around Akihabara. Loved the products available. They had jams, peanuts coated in various flavours. Sake tasting . All kinds of toppings for rice; ingredients for soups; cake ; snacks ... And so many kinds of food items not found in a regular supermarket. If only I knew what those items were as I could not read Japanese . But they looked really really good ! Worth a visit even just to browse. …

This is a shojin ryori (vegan temple food) restaurant but not the best example, the food is fine but a little lacklustre and not very filling and not worth making much of a journey for.

Some antenna shops are dedicated to one area. This one had food and drink from a few, it seemed. Maybe because it's owned by JR. There were plenty of samples to be had including sake. I found and purchased sencha from a couple of different areas. They also have some artisan crafts. A great place to sit and snack on local delicacies after the assault on the senses in Akihabara.…

I'd heard that this had artisan and gourmet foods from around Japan. The selection was not as wide as I'd hoped for, although it was still good to browse. If you're going to Akihabara, it's near the station so easy enough to pop in. I wouldn't make a special trip.
