We had a quite short visit to this garden because it was raining a lot. We had mancha tea and japanese sweets in the tea house. That was nice, especially when we got the normal table instead of floor seats.

When you get into the Imperial palace east gardens after a while you have a choice of going left to the primacy circle of defense or right to the Japanese garden called Ninomaru located in the seconds circle of defense.There are no signages announcing these....More

A fine example of Japanese stroll gardens revealing finely pruned pines, azaleas,crepe myrtles and maples The path winds across stone bridges and onto stepping stones across a pebble beach beside a waterfall which tumbles down the hill in a winding pond.
