This is the ideal pick for time-tight travelers wanting to discover lots of Tokyo’s highlights in a day. Avoid the potential confusion of Tokyo’s subway system, and travel comfortably in a private vehicle instead. Enjoy the flexibility of being able to pick a set itinerary, or customize your own. Potential attractions include Sensoji Temple, Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo Skytree building and much more.

My interest for this specific location was to take some photos of the moving trains. From the top of the bridge you can have a view of the trains coming in and out of the train stations, sometimes three oe more trains at one time. So a great site for light trails caused by the moving trains against the setting sun. Otherwise there is nothing but the usual hustle and bustle of the train stations.

If you want to do more with the Hijiribashi Bridge than just take a picture, you can use it to cross over the Kanda River. Once you do that, you can either cross back over the way you came, or walk along the Kanda River and cross back over on a different bridge. Or, if your final destination is the side you just crossed, you can stay there! To mix it up, you can hop on the Sobu Main Line or Yamanote Line (but not the Chuo Line, which traces the Kanda River), and cross the Kanda River by rail! There are so many options! Downstream, in the outskirts of Akihibara, there are many new and interesting restaurants and shops built into the viaducts supporting the elevated rail.
