将軍直属家臣の居住地

こちらは、千代田区役所の前ちょとした竹林にあり石碑があります。
昔、この地は将軍直属家臣の居住地や、蔵、馬場、厩といった江戸城付属の施設が置かれていたそうです。

ちょっと展示の方法が間違っている

ちょっと展示の方法が間違っている、どう見ても普通の石が芝の間にゴロゴロと無造作に置かれている様にしか見えないが「えっ？これ？」って感じ。

千代田区役所の前庭に極一部が並べてあります

　江戸城清水門前にある千代田区役所の前庭に竹と一緒に並べてあるが、ほんの狭いところなので説明板に気付かなければ分からないと思います。
　説明板によると、二棟の東西に長い建物で、配置は出土状況を再現しているとかだが、展示してあるところが何せ狭いので説明がピンと来ませんでした。
　折角展示をするのなら、もっと工夫して欲しいところです。

説明板がなければ見過ごしてしまいそうな感じです

千代田区役所の庁舎の前がちょっとした、いこいのスペースのような空間になっています。おそらくこの付近でなないかと見当をつけて、小ぎれいに整備された敷地内を進んだところ、すぐに見つかりました。歩道からすぐのところです。ただ、予備知識がなければ、由緒ある史跡とは誰も気がつきそうもない感じです。説明板も足元に小さなプレートがあるだけです。知らない人は、造園業者が置いていった石か何かだと勘違いしまうかもしれないな、と思いました。
